Las Cruces MPO soliciting input for Transport 2040
The Las Cruces Metropolitan Planning Organization has begun the process of updating its Long Range Transportation Plan, which must be done every five years under federal law. As the name Transport 2040 implies, the MPO is making an effort to closely link their plan with Vision 2040, with the goal of truly coordinating regional land use and transportation planning. Three public open houses are scheduled as follows:
- Wednesday, March 4th, 11am-7pm, East Mesa Recreation Center (Porter Rd Hwy 70)
- Friday, March 6th, 11am-7pm, Mesilla Town Hall
- Saturday, March 14th, noon-6pm, Branigan Library
